Getting to the almost done phase. Hylan recommends beveling 8-degrees at center and splining together. While it does make a very strong breasthook (and minimal sanding for camber), it does create some fitting challenges. As I’m painting boat, and using epoxy no big deal. If this was going to be finished bright, would of taken much more work. The interior joinery has been taken much longer than I thought. My current best estimate is I now have about 400 man-hours in this – and maybe another 50 to go.
