Got an OK image of the satellites. Was much better to see live – there were actually about 40 of them traveling in a line – looked like an alien invasion force coming in to attach Earth.

At first used standard astro photography setup but all I got was a solid straight line (see below) – finally switched to a 3 sec exposure and was able to get these 9 separate satellites. Entire event lasted maybe 5 minutes and the satellites went from west to south west. Not going to be back for awhile but next time…

ps- perfect night here in Feb – not too often we get temps in the low 50’s this time of year. Images taken at 6:47pm
