Been quite some time since I’ve tied any flies. They came out OK considering how rusty my fingers working deer hair. These were tied per Larry Dahlberg’s original pattern. I don’t see how the tails aren’t going to wrap around hook while casting – but that’s what he shows.

Step 1 – Weedguard and Flashabou Tail

Step 2 – Marabou Over Tail

Step 3 – Spin bunches of hair

Step 4 – Trim with razor, add eyes
