Almost completed the stem laminating jig. Had to cut into my temporary sawhorse top as jig was bigger than I thought it would be and with the rain (again) didn’t want to make lumber run.

Should be able to get this totally done tomorrow. May talk with Eastman Boatbuilding guys on Tuesday to see if I can use their shop (heated) for at least getting stems glued up and done. Epoxy not great when temperatures drop below 50F.

Bandsaw’s are great for this kind of work.

Bought this saw close to 40 years ago. They don’t make them like this anymore.

Don’t tell Lisa there is a jig hidden under the bed

Stem Laminations Cut – most of board turns to sawdust.
Lams are 3/16″ thick, 2″ wide, and 66″ long

Finally got the Eastman Boatbuilding Group to let me use their nice heated building so I could get a jump start on stems. Looking pretty good, three more glue session needed.
