Took almost 30 man-hours and 3 sheets of 3/4 OSB but got the molds for Beach Pea. This is truly one of the worst materials I have ever used to do precision work. Super heavy, has a tendency to chip out but it is what designer recommended. Next time will just build in conventional manner (pine boards with spreaders). But they are done and will start next step of building the ladder frame and setting up.

Total labor was about 40 hours. Nice and warm today (40-F) so added bottom braces and centerline backer. These will make molds reusable if a 2nd hull to be built (maybe Eastman Boat Building Group). Ready for next phase of build. Note – I had to bring these back inside as weather going to get cold/snow later this week and trying to keep these as perfect as possible. While they may not look like it, they have incredibly tight tolerances and don’t want temps/moisture to effect anything. May be a few more weeks until I’m back on boat.
