This little bug ( size 8 or 10) was a killer for a couple of weeks this summer on Eastman Smallmouth. Had to use 3x tippet – lots of pickerel liked it and cut me off numerous times. Surprisingly, the bugs popped out (barbless) when the pickerel went deep and I didn’t lose a single fly.
