A picture is worth a 1000 words.
Every year I get a massive birds nest using braid – think I will stick to fluro or good old mono when it’s too windy for the fly rod.
UPDATE – JULY 2023
Just discovered that the bail return mechanism has crack at pickup point that is just wide enough to snag line and has been source of all my problems. Filled crack with epoxy, filed smooth and everything working properly. That said, I still prefer my fly rod.
