Finally broke down and bought a Cliff’s Bugger Barn fly case. It is about the size of a medium briefcase (remember those). Was always a pain to be digging through separate boxes looking for a specific pattern I wanted to try while on the water.

All flies now well organized and really only needed to tie a handful of new ones. These are all relatively large flies (4-6 inches) for pike and largemouth. Tried the river thing and just don’t like. We are suppose to have great trout waters and I really should give it another shot.

So tired of winter as it has been very cold and just can’t get into doing anything outdoors. May 15’th through Jun 15’th is usually best fishing of the season, so not that much longer.
