Everything working out well. Weather (Temp < 50) really limiting factor for glueing strips. It takes me about 40 minutes to prep (bevel/clamp-in position) for a matched pair. Then it is a long wait for glue to set-up – typically 3 or 4 hours before repeat etc…

The bike inner tube/spring clamp technique really works great – especially for getting both strips on hull quickly. Luckily I have decent collection of clamps so no problem to date. I found the Saran Wrap method works somewhat decently and between some spring clamps, inner tube, plastic stretch wrap and masking tape anyone could do strip-planking without a big investment. By far, the most difficult challenge was milling up the strips.
