Every spring, we get some dumb robin trying to get the attention of the truck for a potential mate. Don’t know if same guy (only a male can be that stupid and desperate), but he will spend half the day pecking at the back window.
Of course, just when we we had snow tires changed to summer tires it has to snow. The chairs below were taken from garage attic storage to make room for tire swap – a job that is getting harder to do every year.

Below are hooded merganser that were off Bog Road (on way to dog park) this morning. I saw maybe 6 of them yesterday and brought camera along just in case they were back.
The hooded merganser is a species of fish-eating duck in the subfamily Anatinae.
They are hard for me to photograph as my camera telephoto does not have quite enough zoom. They will be in our backyard pond soon – always cool to see these ones. There was also a mink swimming and jumping on the snow but didn’t get a good shot of him.
