Another unseasonably warm day so Charlie and I went looking for new places launch kayaks from next spring.
I have heard that the Upper Connecticut River holds some monster Pike and is really the last unchartered fishery here in New England. This place is on the VT side of river and maybe 45 minutes away. VT does a better job with public boat launches and this was a very nice place. There is another launch about 5 miles further south (Herricks Cove).Will get there next day or so to check out.
