This is the place I decided to no longer be a member of the “Tacoma Mountaineers” – doing a winter climb, sun came out bright and avalanches happening. Lead wanted to keep going up. Pretty steep and climbing unroped, a women in group started freaking out so I took her back. Joined up with the Snowshoe group (Tacoma Mountaineers sub-group), became an official “Backcountry Snowshoe Lead “and had great times with them.
