I had forgotten how much I hate working with fiberglass – glad to see this completed. Weather has been delaying me entire project – needed 4 good continuous days to glass and fill. Next is a fill coat (for weave) and than some varnish. In addition to being a sticky mess, the top and bottom done separate and you have to get glass to defy gravity and roll back upside down! I did follow Nick Schade guidance regarding not putting too much resin down (roll small amount axially, quickly work down to one end than the other, don’t try to make perfect at this stage- just get hull covered than use squeegee and chip brush to get final thickness- worked very good)
NOTE: Apply glass to bottom surface first with initial overlap landing on upper deck. Next apply upper deck glass – it will overlap much better. I did it backwards and there is a visible line on upper deck that could/should have be avoided ….

Bottom Fiberglass Done – a mess cutting tape off while laying on back
Bottom rolling over side to top deck – tape cut after 5 hours set
Bottom glass rolls over rails and is cut before epoxy hardens – fill coat will make razor marks disappear
