Has been a long time getting to this point. Last of epoxy work done and looking great. Need epoxy to completely cure (10 days) then a couple quick coats of varnish and will be ready for water. Total labor around 85 man-hours and costs about $1400 materials/suppliers. Probably 1st and last strip plank hull for me. While it came out very well, I did not enjoy the fiberglass work and no getting around that with this construction technique. FYI- the orange tint on cover photo is from the wildfire smoke – makes everything look orange – sun and moon look pretty cool.
