This book has been on my radar for quite some time –  it is a very old (1992) publication but has some great classic fly patterns that will never become obsolete.

Lots of patterns, great pictures and some interesting history/commentary regarding the flies. I found 4 nice papers that should be great here in NH and will get tied up over the winter.

This would be a good addition to your bass fly fishing library. NOTE: this is not a learning to tie book, just recipes and materials – if you don’t know basics, this is probably not a good book for you just yet.

Nice graphics, good materials lists, interesting comments.
