Heading back next summer to build a Penobscot 13 with the legendary designer/builder Arch Davis.

Will be somewhat similar to the Peapod of last summer, but Davis uses an unusual longitudinal stringer technique that looks interesting. Additionally, this boat has a traditional transom as opposed to the Peapod which is a double ender. Will be interesting to see the differences between two famous wooden boat builders (Geoff Kerr – Peapod 15 and Arch Davis – Penobscot 13).

The boat is definitely something that I may build for Eastman Lake (but I would build the Penobscot 14 – a bit more leg room)
