Here is my first “new” post in SBW 2.0 and from my “new” temporary downstairs desk – I literally just finished structure/organization of the new website 15 minutes ago.

Weather here has been unseasonably warm so no longer safe to take Charlie for his morning walk on Anderson Pond.

As always, Lisa and I slept through the official 12:00 New Year event. I don’t think we have ever stayed up that late in the past 30 years or so.

Big goals are;

  • Get some old legacy posting from prior SuckingBigWind site (or recreate again)
  • Work on spinning/stacking deer hair – a recurring task, but I am getting pretty decent at this difficult fly tying task
  • Finish the last of the house projects – just custom entry stair railings Lisa has wanted for awhile
  • Smallmouth at Grafton Pond – suppose to be premier lake and only 20 minutes away
  • Maybe take another program at the Wooden Boat School – just for the interaction with like minded people
  • Improve B&W photography – mostly landscape this year

That’s about it – being retired has many advantages.
