This part of build was quite difficult (to do right) but finally got all rolling bevels correct and nice tight (no gaps) between individual strips. Much rolling and twisting on these guys. Nick Schade’s Robo-Bevel tool worked pretty well. I did have to modify the ramp for mini-sholder planes as they kept banging into stations and threw things out of alignment.

Curved Topside presented lots of tinkering on how to get loads aligned so clamps don’t pull off

Walt Simmons Trick

Love this plane for cleaning things up (Lie-Neilson No 62 Rabbet/Nicker Block Plane)

Another Day

Blocking Location Marked Before Burried under strips – drilled small hole after next strip installed

Curvature Needed Innovative Solution

Necessary Tools; Robo-Bevel and Rabbet/Nicker Block Plane

Last Two Clamped

Top Deck Stripping Done – good to get that completed – maybe 50+ man-hours
