Last time I saw the boat in Maine – it had just came out of the shop.
Pretty good looking – can’t believe we got this done in two weeks. Somewhere around 900 man-hours went to get it this far. Believe the total material costs were around $2500 – not too bad for a well built classic.
John does have a fair amount to do back in Michigan. He said he was going to make it a true sailing boat. We configured it as row only. However; we built the centerboard, trunk, tiller and a solid wood mast from Sitka Spruce that Geoff said cost about $450).
